A bit more about me.
BIO
I am a retired software developer. I left school at 15, which was pretty normal back then and went to a college of further education, where I got some A-levels. I ended up studying Zoology at University College Cardiff. I worked as a zoologist for two years at Liverpool Museum then retrained as a systems analyst and spent the rest of my career in various roles in IT. I now live alone, since my cat passed, only a few miles from where I was born on the Wirral pennisular in the UK. I am most often found in my mobile home just a short walk from a quiet beach, surrounded by farmland, even though I am on the edge of the mighty metropolis of Liverpool.

I have always told stories and written and have had a few short stories published in small press magazines. I now wish I had pursued writing more seriously at an earlier stage in my life, but like many of you I am sure, I was too involved in trying to keep a roof over my head and food on the table. Still, maybe I was not ready to write seriously back then. A rather famous writer who read some of my stories once told me, I had no difficult getting words onto a page, and that I just needed to find my story. Hopefully I am ready now.

Since the place I live is much more photogenic than me, I've added a couple of photographs.

The end of the lane
There is an ocean at the end of this lane, but its at the other end.
Across the bay
At the bottom of the park, is a gate, through the gate is a thin strip of rough grassland, then the seawall and beyond that, this.
